Meet the Team
Director

I am the acting Director of the Pilot Butte Early Learning Centre. I am originally from the Philippines and migrated here to Canada in 2013. I was an elementary school teacher back home for 12 years and taught in Bangkok, Thailand for 7 years. Before I was assigned here, I worked with children of different age groups with diverse cultures in several daycares in Saskatchewan. During my free time, I play guitar or keyboard, watch movies, spend time with family, friends and enjoy being outdoor in the summer!

Hello everyone, I am a full-time employee here at Pilot Butte Early Learning Centre. I am currently enrolled in Early Childhood Education classes at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and working towards my ECE certificate. I was born on October 9th, 1980 and I am a mother of two wonderful children, a girl 17 years old and a boy 9 years old. I am from the beautiful country of Jamaica and I am currently living in Regina. I am very observing, calm and friendly. I love travelling, watching TV and meeting people from different backgrounds. I believe in only your best is good enough.

My name’s Nislee Anne. I was a school-teacher in the Philippines before I moved here in Canada. I specialized in teaching Science, but I taught students with special needs and multiple intelligences. It is very heartwarming for me to see how each child develop the physical, social and emotional aspects of their personality. Working with young children now has a big difference from the age level of my students in the past, but I am learning to adapt all the changes. I enjoy seeing how the small ones grow and develop. During my free time, I plant ornamental plants and do crafts.

I am a jovial, flexiable, and reliable person who possesses great time-keeping skills. I am self motivated, responsible and a hard-working one. I can adopt to all challenging situations and is able to work well both in team environment as well as using my own initiative. Working with children is of my interests. It's so amazing to see how they develop their skills. And I am so excited to be a part of their development as young learner.

Hi, I am Ishrath. I am originally from India. I migrated here in Canada with my family in May 2022. I was an Early Childhood Educator for more than 7 years back home. I am passionate about teaching young children. I enjoy working and playing with them. I spend my free time gardening, cooking and travelling.

While working in a daycare is new to me, I like being around children and I look forward to my journey as an Early Childhood Educator. During my free time, I like cooking different dishes, and listening to music.

My name is Mary. My family and I came to Canada in December 2022. I have an 8 year-year-old girl and I am studying Master of Education at the University of Regina. I was a Kindergarten an preschool teacher back home. I love spending time with my children and see them explore and discover things. For me, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for children can be every educator's priority in the classroom.

I came to Canada from the Philippines in 2016. I studied Psychology and Indigenous Studies at University of Regina. Since I was in high school, I have been enjoying playing with small children, and eventually got interested in working with them. I worked with some children with special needs. I enjoy outdoor activities like camping. Also, I love painting especially nature.

I have lived in the Pilot Butte community for 40 plus years. My husband and I have raised 3 children and have been actively involved in many sports within the community. We enjoy camping and fishing for the summer months. I look forward to providing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
